Edge Of The Empire - Episode 3.3
As The Wheel Turns

After the dust cleared on the fight, the group set to investigating BANDIN’s warehouse, looking for clues to help determine their next step. Dragging the captured thug into the warehouse, they gleaned little information from him before deciding to let him go.

While the interrogation led to a dead end, further exploration of the warehouse uncovered the deactivated R4-W9 tucked away in a corner. GENKO managed to remove the restraining bolt from the astromech, and soon the droid was learning the fate of his friend J9-B8. The R4 unit told the group all that he knew, including the likely location of BANDIN’s hideout, located in a nearby asteroid field.

After wrapping up business in FORMOS, the party, with R4-W9 in tow, headed out to the asteroid, hoping to put an end to BANDIN and collecting the bounty on his head. Their arrival was not without incident however, as both a sentry droid and another small spacecraft attacked the KRAYT FANG shortly after arrival. After handling them fairly easily, the ship now drifts towards the asteroid and a confrontation with the Aqualish smuggler…

As The Wheel Turns

Arriving in FORMOS, the party made their way through the streets of the ramshackle spaceport, engaging with some of the locals as they headed towards the local cantina. After a run-in with a Tritonite missionary and a local water seller, the group happened upon the sorry tale of J9-B8.

Having been set upon by a group of thugs, and with his friend R4-W9 subsequently being droid-napped, J9-B8 was damaged beyond repair, but managed to share his story with the group before he fully deactivated, setting them on the trail of BANDIN DOBAH, a local Aqualish smuggler kingpin.

Following completion of the delivery for OTA, and discovering that BANDIN had both an Imperial and Hutt bounty on his head, and after meeting a Bothan searching for her bounty hunter brother, the group followed a local Toydarian in the hopes of learning more about BANDIN. A fight with some local thugs at a warehouse ensued and victorious, the group is now left to pick up the pieces and decide on their next move…

As The Wheel Turns

In search of some new credit making opportunities, the group decided to head OTA’S advice and make for the space station THE WHEEL. They also agreed to make a delivery for OTA, dropping a crate with unknown contents off on the planet of FORMOS.

The start of the trip to FORMOS was not without hazard, as a damaged ship forced the KRYAT FANG out of hyperspace, while requesting for aid. Despite suspicions that it could be a trap, the party decided to investigate, and soon had their fears confirmed when they were in a fight for their lives against what appeared to be pirates.

After barely managing to get everyone back aboard the ship before the pirates overcame them, a combination of JOHN’s expert piloting and VARLOV’s speedy astrogation allowed the group to break away from the pirate ship and continue their journey to FORMOS…

The dust has settled, and TEEMO THE HUTT has been slain, his final acts of defiance silenced by the explosion of a grenade. After rescuing ANATTA, and rendezvousing with the VIO TWINS, the party returned to GEONOSIS to retrieve the KRAYT FANG before ANATTA departed in order to share the evidence against TEEMO with JABBA THE HUTT.

Free from the weight of TEEMO chasing them, and the bounty that was on their heads, the group was free to return to NABAT on RYLOTH to regroup. NYN was very pleased with the weapons that were purchased from DUKE PIDDOCK, and OTA and B’URA B’AN were thrilled with the end of TEEMO’S meddling in the plans of the NEW MEEN mines.

After a few weeks of relaxation and personal matters, the group is itching to get started on their next job…

Arriving in MOS SHUUTA, aboard the LUCKY GUESS, JOHN SMITH hatched a plan whereby they would be smuggled into TEEMO’S Palace, taking the place of the Battle Droids inside the crates being delivered.

That part of the plan went off without a hitch, and they found themselves in the heart of the palace. Some quick slicing by VARLOV allowed the group to gather evidence that TEEMO was not only building his own Battle Droids, but that he also had a Bith spying on JABBA for him.

With the damming evidence in hand, the party attempted to flee via the landing pad, but it all ended in violence as THWEEK, TEEMO’s Kubaz spy attacked the group and raised the alarm.

Forced to improvise, the crew managed to seal all the doorways to the landing pad, and hijacked TEEMO’S sail barge, planning to fly it into the desert for a rendezvous with the VIO TWINS…

With the assistance of DUKE DIMMOCK, the group was to catch a ride on the LUCKY GUESS with the VIO TWINS, but first, they had to cover the duke’s support by dealing with some Geonosian guards.

What started out as a non-lethal encounter turned sour when VRIXX’TT, the Gand who had attended DUKE PIDDOCK’s party posing as a pro-insect reformer, attempted to collect the outstanding bounty on the party’s heads.

Luckily, both he and the Geonosian’s proved to be no match for the party, and they were soon aboard the LUCKY GUESS, piloted by the VIO TWINS, making their way to MOS SHUUTA and what they hoped would be a final encounter with the double-crossing TEEMO…

The mission at the party was a success, with the group gaining access to a number of pieces of critical information about TEEMO and his previous relationship with DUKE PIDDOCK, with one particular piece of information, that TEEMO was potentially working against JABBA THE HUTT, being potentially the most valuable.

Taking this information to DUKE DIMMOCK, they managed to convince him to assist their plot, agreeing to help get them get aboard the LUCKY GUESS so that they could sneak into MOS SHUUTA and deal with the TEMMO problem, in one way or another, once and for all…

A search of the DROMBB settlement uncovered a cache of credits, and some talented slicing of ANGU’S computer uncovered some messages between him and another unknown individual.

After a brief celebration in NEW MEEN, the group returned to NABAT to meet with NYN. After scaring away a Kubaz that appeared to be spying on them, they met with NYN and the Bothan OTA. OTA shares some chilling news, that TEEMO has put a bounty of 50k credits on their heads, a sum sure to draw very dangerous attention.

As eliminating TEEMO is now to the mutual benefit of both OTA and the group, they enter into an agreement to attend a party hosted by the Geonosian, DUKE PIDDOCK, where they hope to gain information that will allow them to strike at TEEMO directly, at the heart of his palace in MOS SHUUTA…

After the escape from MOS SHUUTA, our heroes barely had a chance to recover from the previous battle before they were attacked by Imperial Tie Fighters. A brief dogfight followed, during which the KRYAT FANG took a direct hit, before GENKO was able to get the HYPERMATTER REACTOR IGNITOR fully charged, allowing the group to escape TATOOINE via light speed.

Finally clear of MOS SHUUTA, and the immediate reach of TEEMO, the group explored their new ship. Finding a Twi’lik prisoner aboard the ship, by the name of B’URA B’AN, the group learned of a potential plot by a band of outsiders to take over the NEW MEEN Ryll mine.

Low on fuel, and needing a place to repair their ship, the party agrees to take B’URA B’AN back to RYLOTH, where they have been promised free supplies as well as potential business opportunities for helping B’URA B’AN and his associates.
